Amman Stock Exchange index rose during the current week by 0.47% closing Thursday’s session at 2122.7 points compared to 2112.8 points for the last week.
Total 21.8 million shares were traded through 10582 transactions at a turnover of JOD 23.5 million.
Out of 164 companies were traded, 66 rose, 64 declined, while the remaining ones kept flat.
At the sectors level during the week, the Financial index increased by 0.23%, the Services index increased by 0.68%, and the Industrial index increased by 0.88%.
The top three gainers during the week were, the Babelon Investments Co. P.l.c by 26.92%, Industrial Industries & Match/jimco by 13.10% and International Cards Company by 11.11%.
The top three losers were, the Jordan Emirates Insurance Company P.s.c by 19.35%, Middle East Specialized Cables Company/mesc_jordan Plc by 12.50% and Al-safweh For Financial Investments Co. by 10.26%.
