The benchmark index bounced to trade in the green boosted by services and industrial sectors after three sessions of decline.

The benchmark index of Jordan bourse rose by 0.18% adding 3.81 points and closed at 2118.86 points.

The index decreased yesterday by 0.07% losing 1.48 points and closed at 2114.98 points.

At the sector level, the services sector rose by 0.67% and the industrial sector increased by 0.59% while the financial sector declined by 0.07%.

The top three gainers were, the Irbid District Electricity by 7.44%, Resources Company For Development And Investment Plc by 7.14% and Alia- The Royal Jordanian Airlines Plc. by 5.00%.

The top three losers were, International Cards Company by 5.13%, El-zay Ready Wear Manufacturing by 3.57% and Jordan French Insurance by 2.70%.

Total of 6.5 million shares were traded through 2807 transactions at a turnover of JOD 6.9 million.
