The benchmark index of Bahrain Bourse (BHB) has closed on Wednesday in the green, after four sessions of declines.
The index closed at 1424.02 points, gaining 6.62 points, recording a rise by 0.47%.
Today’s trading value posted BHD 242,548, with a trading volume reaching 712,795 shares, traded through 32 transactions.
Commercial bank sector led the gainers with 1.90%, as Ahli United Bank (AUB) index closed at $0.805, after trading on 535 thousand shares, with a turnover posting $429.47 thousand.
Meanwhile, services sector rose by 0.44%, and investment sector inched up by 0.33%, while industrial sector retreated 1.89%.
