Bahrain-Mubasher: Bahrain Bourse extended its downward trend to the third straight day, hurt by banking stocks.
The benchmark fell nearly 0.37% or 5.38 points to close Wednesday at the 1464.15 level.
A total of 1.45 million shares changed hands at a turnover of BHD 1.068 million.
The banking was the most active sector, dominating more than 94% or BHD 1.002 million of the market's total traded value.
Zain Bahrain was the major disappointment, tumbling 5.05%. The telco announced that it will pay cash dividend at 5 fils per share as of March 12.
Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait dropped around 1.72%.
