Bahrain-Mubasher: The Bahrain Bourse maintained its bullish performance for the third straight session, with the benchmark gaining 0.6% or 8.6 points to close at the 1,441.37 level.

Trading volume decreased from nearly 1.3 million shares to 825,000 million shares, while turnover rose from BHD 111,700 to BHD 125,300.

The industrial sector rose 1.2%, boosted by Alba which climbed 1.23% to BHD 0.492.

The commercial bank sector went up 1.08%, as Al-Salam and Khaleeji jumped 2.5% and 1.92%, respectively.

The hotels sector was up 0.35%, bolstered by Banader Hotels which jumped 8.93% to BHD 0.061.

Takaful International soared 9.52% to BHD 0.092, offsetting a portion of Sunday's losses.

Batelco, Zain Bahrain and National Bank of Bahrain closed on a flat note.
