Bahrain-Mubasher: The Bahrain Bourse closed Sunday on a negative note, with the benchmark losing as much as 0.17% or 2.41 points to reach the 1,391.88 level.  

Turnover declined from BHD 387,380 to BHD 72,720, and trading volume decreased from 1.4 million shares to 578,566 shares.

The market was pressured by the commercial bank sector which dropped 0.29%, as Ahli United Bank fell 0.68%. Khaleeji rose 1.89%.

The service sector lost 0.27%, as BMMI and Zain Bahrain slid 2.38% and 1.09%, respectively.

The commercial bank sector was the most active in terms of traded value with BHD 48.520.
