Manama – Bahrain: Bahrain Telecommunications (Batelco) reported BHD 14.2 million ($37.7 million) in net profits for the first quarter of 2015, 2% fall year-on-year, yet a rise of 68% quarter-on-quarter.

The telecom operator earlier posted a 13% increase in FY14 net profits to BHD 49.3 million ($130.8 million), compared with BHD 43.6 million ($115.6 million) a year earlier.
