Mubasher: Major shareholder Abdulhamid Zainal has raised his stake in Bahrain Flour Mills (BFM) to 5.74% or 1.4 million shares.

Through two transactions, the shareholder bought 3,510 shares at 388 fils each, totalling nearly BHD 1,361.

The Bahrain-listed company posted net earnings of nearly BHD 335,300 for the first half of 2015, falling 31.3% compared with BHD 481,200 in H1-14.

BFM operates with BHD 2.5 million capital, divided into 24.8 million shares at a par value of BHD 0.1 each.
