Tunis- Mubasher: Bourse de Tunis deepened its early losses on Thursday, to end in the red.

The benchmark Tunindex fell 0.07% or 3.72 points to 5311.27 points. Tunindex20 also lost 0.05% to 2263.39 points.

Out of the 77 listed companies, 65 changed hands; 18 moved higher, 30 moved lower, while 17 remained unchanged.

Seven sectors headed south led by insurance (-0.47%), followed by industrials (-0.16%). Meanwhile, six sectors headed north topped by financial services (+0.21%) followed by consumer services (+0.11%).

As for stocks, Société Tunisienne d’Email was the top gainer with a rise by 2.44% to TND 2.93. Meanwhile, Societe Tunisienne d'equipement fell by 5.78% to TND 7.82.

Today’s turnover amounted to nearly TND 2.5 million, while traded volume reached 422,090 shares.
