Tunis- Mubasher: Bourse de Tunis extended its early losses on Tuesday to end in the red.

The benchmark Tunindex fell 0.28% or 20.78 points to 5307.17 points. Tunindex20 also lost 0.43% to 2261.39 points.

Out of the 77 listed companies, 63 changed hands; 24 moved higher, 29 moved lower, while 9 others remained unchanged.

Ten sectors moved lower led by consumer services (-1.65%), followed by food and beverages (-1.25%). Meanwhile, three sectors moved higher topped by insurance (+0.78%).

Selim was the top gaining stock with a rise by 5.93% to TND 21.08. Meanwhile, Magasin General fell by 5.82% to TND 26.84.

Today’s turnover amounted to nearly TND 2.4 million, while traded volume reached 381,900 shares.
