Bahrain bourse ended the week on an up note. Bahrain All Share Index gained 1.44%, or 20.15 pts, to above 1400 pts, at 1418.84 pts. Esterad dropped 1.58 to 1445.43 pts.
Liquidity went up to BHD 921.9 thousand, after about 3.7 million shares changed hands. Ahmad Abdel Hameed, CEO at Watheeqa Securities, expected the Bahraini index to break through key resistance at 1400 pts, target 1460 pts. He added that the 1368 level is a top-loss level, which if not broken through, investors are advised to cut positions.
Madbouly stated that if the index maintained its position above the 1400 level, it will likely target 1500-1600 pts in the short term level.
ABC was the top mover to the upside, soaring 10% to $0.660, while NASS was the worst performer, falling 2.15% to BHD 0.182.
