Head of General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) Hassan Fahmi met Tuesday with Singapore’s ambassador in Cairo S. Premjith to discuss boosting economic cooperation, according to The Cairo Post website.
Fahmi reviewed with Premjith the general economic outlook in Egypt, investment priorities, and future initiatives which aim at improving investment climate.
Fahmi also proposed a visit by GAFI officials to Singapore to study its expertise, a demand welcomed by the Singaporean envoy.
Premjith pledged to offer development training to Egyptian investment officials under the Singaporean cooperation program.
