Preparatory meetings of the Egyptian-Russian commercial committee started Sunday in Moscow to discuss trade, economic and investment issues, according to State Information Service (SIS) website. The activities will continue until March 26. The Egyptian side is led by Minister of Trade, Industry and Investment Mounir Fakhri Abdel-Nour and the Russian side is headed by the Russian agriculture minister. In statements on Sunday, Abdel-Nour said that the committee will take up important economic issues including trade and investment cooperation. A number of cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding will be signed during the meetings in addition to a protocol on technical and administrative cooperation, Abdel-Nour added.
