Home appliance and cable producer El Sewedy Electric announced that an ordinary general meeting will be held today, April 23, 4:00 p.m. at head office. Shareholders will review and endorse the board and auditors’ reports, as well as financial statements for the fiscal year that ended on December 31, 2013. Meanwhile, an extraordinary general meeting will be held on the same day at 4:30 p.m. to discuss approving the sale of land plot in Fifth Settlement, New Cairo. The company’s FY13 consolidated financial results had mirrored EGP 134.5 million, with a fall of 7.8% year-over-year from EGP 146 million net profit.
