Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals (Sidpec) announced that Gas supplies to its production plants will be halted completely for five working days early June, 2014. Sidpec noted that this suspension is due to an extraordinary maintenance carried by western desert gas complex. Sidpec financial results for Q1-FY14, showed EGP 229 million net profit with decline of 28%, from EGP 317 million in the same period year earlier.
