The ordinary general meeting of Golden Textiles & Clothes Wool approved the board and auditor’s reports, as well as financial statements for the fiscal period that ended on March 31, 2014.
Shareholders gave a nod to the proposed dividend payout at EGP 0.25 per share, totaling EGP 3.57 million.
The company posted on Monday consolidated net profit of EGP 2.2 million, with a decline by 12% compared with EGP 2.5 million net profit reported in the same period a year earlier.
Meanwhile, standalone net profit reached EGP 2.1 million, compared with EGP 2.7 million in the first quarter of FY13.
