Switzerland’s Terra Sola is currently planning to boost the solar energy in Morocco, mainly in Ourzazate, Ain Bni Mathar, Foum Al Oued, Boujdour, and Sebkat Tah, reported Morocco World news.
The Moroccan government has already signed a contract allowing Terra Sola to establish up to 16 solar energy plants with a capacity of 25 megawatts.
The company aims through its forthcoming listing on the Berlin Stock Exchange for a contribution of EUR 50 million.
“The sun, unlike oil energy, is not part of the economic culture of the Middle East, but that will change,” said Terra Sola president David Heimhofer.
