National Takaful Insurance Co. (Watania) logged AED 2.3 million net loss for FY13, narrowing 86% from EGP 17.6 million net loss posted a year earlier.
According to the company’s statement posted on Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), operating income rose to AED 4.8 million from AED 810 thousand in the period from June, 2011 till December, 2012.
The insurer had posted AED 6.33 million net loss in the first nine months of FY13, compared with AED 7.419 million net loss in the year-ago period.
