H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, issued a decision to establish Mohammed bin Zayed City near Fujairah City. The Ruler of Fujairah directed the concerned authorities in the emirate to begin work on the necessary plans to create a city equipped with all necessary services and facilities to meet the needs of all the citizens. The first phase will comprise close to 1,000 housing units, while the second and third phases will comprise 3,000 housing units, according to Mubasher Trade and Research.
