Acting Minister of Finance, Safa al-Safi said that the Kurdistan region's share of the federal budget for 2014 rose to IQD 20 trillion, according to NINA news agency.
Safi said the budget in its current form has resolved a large part of the problems that exist between the Governments of the center and the province of Kurdistan.
He noted that the budget had been built on the basis that both governments of the center and the region take responsibility of production expenses and benefits of the oil companies, the salaries and expenses of the sovereign positions for each of them.
