The United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) Ministry of Public Works has announced a tender for the construction of 36 houses in Falaj Al Mualla in Umm Al Quwain, reported Construction Week Online.
The Ministry plans to replace much of the ageing existing infrastructure in the Northern Emirates and to construct more than 1,200 houses in eight remote areas till 2030.
According to the website, the construction of the units will take place on four five-year programmes and will cost between $857 million and $989 million. Tender documents must be submitted by August 12, 2014.
