The volume of industrial products exported by the emirate of Abu Dhabi from January and until the end of May 2014 reached AED eight billion, according to the emirate’s commercial goods indices issued by the Statistics Centre-Abu Dhabi (SCAD), compared to AED 5.1 billion during the same period in 2013.
Industrial exports grew by nearly 40% during the first five months of 2014 compared to the same period in 2013, with industrial necessities covering the largest portion of around 80% of the exports, amounting to nearly AED 6.2 billion.
