According to figures released by the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO), the value of two-way trade between Japan and the UAE during the first half of 2014 rose 4.4% YoY to $25.92 billion (AED 95 billion), reported Gulf Base.
This rise in trade is driven by growth in both exports and imports to and from the UAE.
According to JETRO, Japan's exports to the UAE surged by nearly 13% YoY to $4.59 billion (AED 16.8 billion), while imports rose by 2.8% YoY to $21.34 billion (AED 78.3 billion) during the first six months of 2014.
This rise in trade is driven by growth in both exports and imports to and from the UAE.
