Saudi Arabia ranks fourth with 2.7% inflation rate in June
The Inflation rates across GCC countries ranged between 1.21-3.1% in June, 2014, according to Gulf Daily News.
Bahrain topped the list with an inflation rate of 3.1% over a six-month period ending in June 2014, followed by Kuwait (2.87%), Qatar (2.8%), Saudi Arabia (2.7%), the UAE (2.21%) and Oman 1.21%, according to the latest inflation figures issued by the Statistical Centre for the Co-operation Council for the Arab Countries of the Gulf (GCC-Stat).
On a month-by-month basis, the inflation rate recorded a monthly increase of 1.3% in Bahrain, the UAE (0.41%) and Kuwait and Saudi Arabia (0.2%).
The inflation rates witnessed a modest decrease of 0.1% in Qatar and 0.07% in Oman at the end of June when compared with May 2014 figures.
