Emerging Markets Payments Holdings (EMPH) announced the official opening of its new office in Dubai, the UAE, through which it seeks to support its presence in the UAE as well as expand its work in the Arab Gulf region.

EMPH executive chairman Paul Edwards commented that EMPH is proud to be a leader in the development of e-payment services in Africa over the past decade. The Company, formerly known as Mediterranean Smart Cards Company (MSCC) became part of the EMPH Group in 2010, he revealed, adding that EMPH acquired Visa Jordan in 2011, enabling the Company to enter The Orient region.
