Sonitec-Vortisand has announced opening a new office in Dubai’s Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), reported Construction Week Online, adding that the Canada-based firm has said that the new office is a new subsidiary that will support the development of Vortisand in the region.
Vortisand is a filtration technology used for industrial water polishing, used for filters in cooling towers and district cooling as well as in reverse osmosis for desalination.
Commenting on the new Dubai office inauguration, Vortisand general manager Marco Bosiso said “This subsidiary will allow us to intensify our presence in the region with the appointment of a MENA territory manager, Mr Nikhil Bhatia, as well as facilitate our growth and future needs should they include the creation of an assembly plant locally in JAFZA when the volume and market demand justify it.”
The Canadian firm claims to filter using 50% less water and 20% less chemicals and energy than its competitors.
