Emirates Airline said it is ready to wait for adding more routes in Germany, following the launch of its A380 superjumbo on the route to Frankfurt this week, according to Arabian Business.
Chief commercial officer Thierry Antinori said: “We will get the traffic rights one day or the other... It’s a question of time. We have to respect the rules. Germany is missing an opportunity, it is a pity.”
Germany is one of the few major travel markets that the airline is struggling to penetrate, Bloomberg reported, adding that it can serve only four German cities under a bilateral air-services accord dating from 1975.
