Drake and Scull International (DSI) announced that one of its subsidiaries, which specialises in mechanical, electrical, health, water and energy works, has been awarded an AED 110-million contract to execute a water cooling station in Lusail, Qatar.

Developed by the Qatari Diar, Lusail is considered one of the most prominent and modernly integrated residential compounds.

According to the contract provisions, DSI will undertake the designing and construction of the cooling station with a capacity reaching 4250 tonnes of cooled water.

It is expected that cooled water will reach residents in the city of Lusail by July 2015.
