Abu Dhabi’s non-oil trade for the second quarter of 2014 hit AED 36.4 billion, according to a recent report by the Statistics Centre Abu Dhabi (SCAD) on the movement of commodity non-oil trade through Abu Dhabi in Q2-14.
The machinery and transport equipment group recorded the highest contribution in total imports by 48.4% in Q2-14, registering AED 2.7 billion, compared to 25.1% in Q2-13. This growth is attributed to an increase in value of several subdivisions.
