Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), a top-tier Islamic financial services institution, has inaugurated its 3rd Business Banking Sales Centre in the UAE. Located in Al Majaz area in Sharjah, the new Centre will offer ADIB’s SME customers a range of products and services tailored exclusively to meet their needs.

The strategic objective of ADIB Business Banking Division is to support the UAE’s SMEs sector and to meet their growing demands for more Shari’a inspired and customised banking products and services. The new Sales Centre will serve as a one-stop-shop for ADIB’s customers, offering them products such as fleet finance, covered cards and business finance with up to AED 2 million dirhams.

“SMEs play a central role in the UAE’s economic growth, and we have built our commercial banking strategy around them to provide the maximum support to this critical sector,” said Mahdi Kilani, ADIB’s Head of Business Banking. “We believe that the best way to serve our customers is to understand their needs and upcoming requirements. This can be achieved by going closer to them, interacting with them regularly and improving our services according to their needs.”

The new Sales Centre will be staffed by qualified business banking professionals and will be open to customers from 8.30am-4.30pm, Sunday through Thursday.

ADIB Business Banking Division was launched in 2009. It reaches SMEs through nine dedicated hubs located at Al Najda, Al Musaffah in Abu Dhabi; at Dubai Internet City, Al Rigga Deira, JAFZA and DAFZA in Dubai; Al Buhaira in Sharjah and in Al Ain.

As part of the bank’s efforts to support SMEs, ADIB launched BusinessPulse, a unique portal that provides advice and support to small and medium-sized businesses in the UAE 24/7. The portal has been launched in association with Zawya Thomson Reuters. The bank has also been recognised as the “Best Supporting Bank” for SME Initiatives in the UAE by the Mohammed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum Award for Young Leaders. The award was based on a survey in which 70% of respondents voted ADIB as the bank that best caters to the needs of young entrepreneurs and small-to medium-sized enterprises.
