Emirates REIT announced today that it has been selected to join the FTSE European Public Real Estate Association (EPRA)/National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT) Global Real Estate Index, a statement by Emirates REIT on NASDAQ Dubai revealed.
Launched in 2008, the FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Global Emerging Index Series covers the world's largest investment markets and includes a range of indices covering Emerging and Developed Markets.
It is worth highlighting that Emirates REIT is the fourth UAE firm to join the Index after Emaar Properties, Aldar Properties and RAK Properties.
“Admission to the FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Global Emerging Index further enhances the visibility of Emirates REIT and is a testament to the recognition of REIT by players in the international financial markets”, Emirates REIT executive director Magali Mouquet commented, adding that index inclusion will further support the development of the stock as investors buy the Index constituents to build and run a rage of investment products.
