Abu Dhabi’s tourism sector is organising promotional campaigns in Kuwait with the aim of attracting more Kuwaiti visitors and residents to the UAE, Al Bayan reported.
The number of Kuwaiti hotel visitors to the emirate has surged by 42% during the first eight months of 2014 to 21129 visitors, spending 54721 nights, registering a 44% increase compared to the same period last year. Kuwaitis spent a minimum of three nights in the emirate.
Launched during the 23-25 of this month, the promotional campaign at The Avenues Mall in Kuwait is done in collaboration with delegations from the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, YAS Water Land Abu Dhabi, Rotana Hotels and Resorts and Etihad Airways, which launched four flights per day from Kuwait to the Abu Dhabi International Airport.
