The volume of Abu Dhabi’s industrial exports rose to AED 11 billion during the first seven months of 2014, registering a growth by 20%, compared to the same period in 2013.

Metal industries accounted for more than 90% of total exports during the period, reflecting the massive industrial expansion and the direction towards exporting and opening of international markets before locally-manufactured products.
