Globe Express Services (GES) has announced that the revenue for its UAE offices rose by eight percent during the first nine months of 2014, compared to figures from the same period in 2013. GES is upbeat that the strong revenue growth is in line with the momentum witnessed by the UAE’s logistics sector, it said in a statement.
GES has revealed that it has charted a well-defined strategy to further reinforce its key offerings with an aim to continue with its exceptional growth in 2015.
Accordingly the management of the Company has decided to enhance their business ties with existing customers and key vendor partners, develop new business and industry verticals, and upgrade their technology platform to streamline all processes.
At present, GES operates from its offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and has a state-of-the-art industrial warehouse in the Jebel Ali Free Zone, in the UAE.
Commenting on the strong financials, GES Managing Director-Gulf States Mustapha Kawam stated “Globe Express Services’ revenue growth is attributed to tremendous growth registered by the UAE’s logistics sector. The UAE has developed into a world-class logistic hub due to its unique strengths, including its strategic location, modern infrastructure, rising population, and strong growth in trade volume between Europe and Asia. We will leverage this advantage to further increase our revenues in the country, and remain committed to delivering quality and excellence to our customers.”
