The UAE capital is set to see its first Four Seasons hotel in two years’ time after construction work on the 35-storey property on Al Maryah Island commenced in 2013, Construction Week Online reported, adding that this follows developer Mubadala’s AED 730 million contract award to Al Futtaim Carillion to design and build the project.

The new hotel will boast 190 rooms and 125 apartments, marking the Canadian Company’s second Four Seasons hotel in the UAE, the first being Dubai, and which opened on November 16.

Next month, Four Seasons will open a hotel in Johannesburg followed by one in Bahrain in the first quarter of 2015.
