Major Gulf-Moroccan projects to run by 2020
The fourth Gulf-Morocco Investment Forum recently held in Casablanca has offered several projects in the sectors of communications, agriculture, and health, according to Morocco World news.

The Moroccan-Saudi investments resulted from the Forum were creating Sama Company for Agricultural Investment, operating real estate projects in the Gulf countries, launching a project for health and tourism, and setting a plan by Taswik Group to organize an international fair of smart cities.

Investors suggested building an investment bank that can support small and medium businesses SMEs in Morocco and the Gulf countries.

Noteworthy, the attendants at the Forum called for the ‘Declaration of Casablanca’ which will seek to establish a joint working committee consisting of representatives of the Federation of Commerce and Industry Chambers, and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC); the Moroccan Federation of Commerce and Industry, and the General Confederation of Enterprises of Morocco (CGEM).

Establishing an Arab Market by 2020, and signing a free trade agreement were requested from the president of Moroccan Federation of Commerce and Industry chambers Driss Haouat.

Noteworthy, Jordan’s Sayegh Group has showed interest in establishing a media city in Morocco. The Group noted that “the kingdom enjoys stability and has capacities and resources likely to succeed the initiative,” according to Maghreb Arab Press (MAP).
