Al Waha Capital, a publically-traded company on ADX, repurchased 1.3 million shares last Thursday, at a total value of AED 3.718 million.
The company said in a bourse statement that the stock price reached AED 2.86, adding that the number of repurchased shares amounted to 11,229,779.
The number of remaining shares amounts to 183,221,689, Al Waha said.
The company operates with AED 1.944 million capital, divided into 1.944 shares at AED 1 par value each.
