Dubai-based real estate developer Nakheel plans to restart working in a project worth $550 in Vietnam's northern province of Quang Ninh in January 2015, according to Al Iqtisadi.
A memorandum was signed to continue the project which was postponed due to financial problems after its groundbreaking in 2007.
Earlier this year, it was reported that Nakheel executives were scheduled to visit North Vietnam in June to discuss the construction of urban and tourism complex in one of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Quanh Ninh.
It is worth highlighting that Nakheel’s revenues surged 123% in the last four years, reaching AED 9.4 billion in 2013 compared to AED 4.2 billion in 2010.
