Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Airports announced on Thursday that its CEO Tony Douglas has stepped down from his position in order to take up a new role as the UK defence ministry’s procurement arm.

Douglas was appointed CEO of the airport firm in 2013. Under his leadership, Abu Dhabi Airports saw more than 20 million travellers in 2014, registering a year on year increase by 20%, with expectations of continued growth.
