Dubai – Mubasher: Nakheel said it is inviting specialised and licensed companies in Dubai to present their bids in its tender for a community shopping centre and a mosque as part of its Nad Al-Sheba project.

The scope of work includes a community shopping mall and a mosque in Nad Al-Sheba on a surface area of 12,340 square metres and includes 17 shops and 12 cafes and restaurants in addition to a hypermarket on an area of 4,051 square metres. The mosque will cover 752 square metres, the company said in a statement.

Nakheel has raised the total investment cost of its 1,400-villa Nad Al-Sheba project by AED 1 billion to AED 3.5 billion after growing demand on its units.

Nakheel has reported 123% growth in revenues over the last four years, reaching AED 9.4 billion in 2013 compared to AED 4.2 billion in 2010.
