Dubai - Mubasher: The emirate of Dubai is set to host Middle East’s largest congregation of aluminum industry leaders at Aluminum Middle East 2015 between 14-16 April at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC).

The event will see regional and international aluminum producers, suppliers and investors from over 25 countries, according to a press statement.

Ranked the world's fourth largest aluminum producer, the UAE accounts for more than 50% of the Gulf's aluminum production. The Gulf state continues to strengthen its share in the global market by presenting new opportunities for international industry players.

Global industry experts have forecasted a significant growth in the UAE’s aluminum export, which surged by 12% during the first half of 2012. The sector is expected to become one of the key non-oil industry sectors for the country in the future, the experts said. 

“The exhibition, to be held under the theme of “Forging Connections… Building Possibilities”, will help the aluminum industry reach a new level of extraordinary growth and cement Middle East’s position as a powerhouse of the world’s aluminum industry”, the statement revealed.
