Dubai-Mubasher: The International Finance Corp. (IFC), a member of the World Bank, said it issued sukuk worth $100 million, with a maturity period of five years.

The issue aims to support the development finance activities in the MENA region and other parts in the world.

The sukuk will be initially listed on Nasdaq Dubai, the corporation said, adding that it submitted an offer to list the sukuk on London Stock Exchange.

The IFC will continue its efforts to support the private sector to overcome challenges in 2016.
