Al Khaleej Takaful Group (AKHI) reported a net profit of QR24.3mn in 1Q2014, reflecting a QoQ fall of 26.5%. On a YoY basis, AKHI’s net profit increased by 47.0%. EPS amounted to QR1.10 in 1Q2014 vs. QR0.97 in 1Q2013. Total investment & other incomes declined by 26.1% QoQ and increased by 43.5% YoY to QR37.3mn, according to QE.
