Forex experts say that exchange market has witnessed a notable activity since the half of Ramadan, boosted by strong internal and external demand on Jordanian dinar (JOD) as a result of increasing expatriate remittances.

They added that domestic exchange market has seen a big recovery during the last two days after demand on JOD rose internally and externally. Expatriate remittances of Jordanians abroad increased since the beginning of Ramadan and the demand is still strong on JOD in the local market as well as the external demand from Gulf countries.
