Prime Holding Co. posted EGP 23.5 million consolidated net profit for H1-14, against EGP 2 million net loss in the same period a year earlier.
The profit rise was attributed by the company to the increase in revenues by nearly EGP 32.4 million, mainly from the rise in securities commissions to EGP 10.7 million from EGP 3.7 million.
Meanwhile, H1 standalone financial results showed EGP 13.5 million net profit, compared with EGP 3.2 million in H1-13.
The company had posted EGP 5.09 million consolidated net profit for FY13, with 31.7% growth compared with EGP 3.86 million net profit a year earlier. Meanwhile, standalone net profit amounted to EGP 8.03 million, compared with EGP 6.5 million net profit in FY12.
