The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed out the week in the red hurt by profit-taking. The benchmark EGX30 fell 0.68% or 64.22 points to shut at 9373.27.
The small and mid-cap index EGX70 also lost nearly 1.03% or 6.79 pts to reach 652.32 points, while the broader index EGX100 dropped 1.01% to 1165.48 pts.
Turnover reached nearly EGP 744.59 million, after 152.16 million shares were exchanged in 29.8 thousand transactions.
The market capitalization reached EGP 519.79 billion, with a decline of 2 billion on a daily basis but with a rise of EGP 2.9 billion on a weekly basis.
Foreigners inclined to buying today, while national and Arab investors tended towards selling. The institutions inclined to purchasing, while retail investors tended towards selling.
