Rowad Tourism Co. posted consolidated financial results for H1-14, showing that net profit soared 251% to EGP 7.4 million, from EGP 2.1 million in the same period a year earlier.
The company had reported EGP 8.8 million standalone net profit for H1-14, with a surge by 801% compared with EGP 977 thousand net profit in the same period.
It had reported consolidated net profit of EGP 8.1 million for Q1 that ended on March 31, 2014, against EGP 1.4 million net loss logged in the same period a year earlier. Meanwhile, standalone financial statements for the same period mirrored EGP 9.1 million net profit, against EGP 602.2 thousand net loss in Q1-13. The company had suffered EGP 1.27 million net loss in FY13, against EGP 2.43 million net profit a year earlier.
