Spokesman of Iraqi Oil Ministry, Assem Jihad assured that opening Badra oil field in Wasit governorate will increase the country’s production. He said that opening this field is important as its reserves amounted 3 billion barrels, so it will cover Iraq’s losses in Northern fields due to terrorist domination over there.

Jihad added that Badra field will increase the national production as well as saving enough amounts of natural gas which accompanies oil extraction.
