Qatar National Bank Al Ahli will start today, Thursday, September 04, 2014, the distribution of bonus shares at 1.5-for-10.
The securities listing committee of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) set Wednesday, September 3, as the record date for the bank’s bonus share.
The EGX securities listing committee had approved listing shares of increasing the bank’s capital to EGP 10 billion from EGP 5 billion and shares of increasing issued capita by EGP 731.8 million.
The bank had previously announced that it would distribute bonus shares at 1.5-for-10, as of Thursday, September 4. Shareholders of record until the close of trading on Wednesday, September 3 are eligible for this distribution. The lender earlier announced approving capital increase from EGP 4.878 billion to EGP 5.6 billion. The EGP 731 million increase is divided into 73 million shares at EGP 10 par value each.
