The volume of Kuwaiti investments in the Egyptian tourism reached nearly $577 million until the end of the first half of 2014, Al-Watan Al-Arabi reported citing official sources.
The investments will be distributed among 103 tourism firms operating in various transport, hotel and tourism services, and the total capital of these firms is estimated at $1.3 billion.
The General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) and governmental bodies are currently preparing for the projects which will be reviewed by Kuwait, sources said.
